Abstrak

Studi ini berangkat dari permasalahan meningkatnya tekanan kerja dan persoalan etika yang dihadapi oleh guru sekolah dasar, yang turut memengaruhi mutu pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji bagaimana praktik servant leadership yang dijalankan oleh kepala sekolah dapat membantu dalam mengelola stres serta memperkuat integritas guru di SDN 1 Cibogogirang Kecamatan Plered, Kabupaten Purwakarta, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-eksploratif. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah dan guru, yang dipilih secara purposif. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, serta checklist dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berkontribusi aktif dalam membangun suasana kerja yang mendukung melalui komunikasi yang empatik, pembagian beban kerja secara proporsional, pemberian penghargaan, serta penyelenggaraan program kesejahteraan. Selain itu, kepala sekolah juga mendorong integritas melalui keteladanan, penetapan kode etik, dan tata kelola yang transparan. Adapun keterbatasan studi terletak pada lingkup lokasi yang terbatas dan durasi penelitian yang singkat. Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya pelatihan kepemimpinan berkelanjutan dan replikasi studi di lingkungan pendidikan lainnya.
