Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) merupakan aspek mendasar dalam kegiatan industri karena memainkan peran penting dalam melindungi pekerja dari potensi bahaya yang dapat menyebabkan kecelakaan atau penyakit akibat kerja. Tingginya tingkat risiko operasional, terutama di industri yang melibatkan penggunaan mesin, energi, dan bahan kimia, menuntut penerapan sistem manajemen K3 yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pentingnya penerapan K3 dalam meningkatkan keselamatan di tempat kerja dan mengurangi risiko kecelakaan di lingkungan industri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tinjauan pustaka terhadap berbagai peraturan, standar keselamatan, dan praktik penerapan K3 di sektor industri. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penegakan peraturan K3, peningkatan pelatihan dan kesadaran pekerja, penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), pengelolaan bahan kimia berbahaya, serta manajemen risiko yang sistematis merupakan faktor kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang aman. Penerapan budaya keselamatan yang konsisten tidak hanya mengurangi kecelakaan di tempat kerja tetapi juga meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi operasional, dan keberlanjutan korporat. Oleh karena itu, implementasi K3 yang komprehensif merupakan kebutuhan strategis dalam mendukung operasi industri yang aman dan berkelanjutan.
