Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang buku media informasi berbasis visual sebagai sarana edukasi pencegahan dan pengenalan gejala awal baby blues pada Ibu Generasi Z di Kota Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods, dengan pengumpulan data kuantitatif melalui kuesioner dan data kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam dengan ibu muda serta psikolog. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesadaran awal responden terhadap baby blues mencapai 100%, namun kebutuhan akan edukasi mendalam juga sangat tinggi (100%), dengan media sosial sebagai sumber utama (83,3%). Temuan kualitatif mengidentifikasi kondisi emosional negatif serta faktor pemicu internal dan eksternal. Hasil analisis kemudian diterjemahkan ke dalam perancangan buku visual dengan ilustrasi empatik, warna menenangkan, dan tipografi yang mudah dibaca. Media ini diharapkan mampu membantu deteksi dini serta meningkatkan dukungan psikologis dari lingkungan terdekat.
