Intervensi Nutraceutical Berbasis Bahan Alam untuk Depresi dan Kecemasan: Sebuah Systematic Literature Review

Kesehatan mental merupakan bentuk keseimbangan biologis, psikologis, sosial, dan lingkungan individu yang secara keseluruhan menentukan kemampuan individu dalam menghadapi tekanan, bekerja secara produktif, serta berkontribusi terhadap lingkungannya. Di Asia Tenggara, prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental pada 2019 mencapai 13,2%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan rekomendasi strategis dalam pemanfaatan bahan alam sebagai bagian dari intervensi nutraceutical yang dapat mendukung keseimbangan biologis dalam menjaga kesehatan mental, sekaligus mendorong pelaksanaan riset lanjutan dalam skala laboratorium dan uji klinis. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) berdasarkan standar PRISMA 2020, dengan perumusan topik melalui kerangka PICO. Hasil kajian mengidentifikasi 10 artikel relevan yang mengevaluasi berbagai intervensi nutraceutical berbasis bahan alam untuk mendukung kesehatan mental, meliputi probiotik (5 artikel), prebiotik (1 artikel), asam lemak omega-3 (2 artikel), fitonutrien herbal (1 artikel), serta mikronutrien (2 artikel), dengan satu artikel mengevaluasi kombinasi probiotik dan mikronutrien. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi nutraceutical dapat dioptimalkan melalui bahan alam lokal yang tersedia di masyarakat. Pendekatan ini memiliki efektivitas menjanjikan, terutama jika diintegrasikan dengan potensi bahan alam lokal yang mudah diakses dan menjadi peluang dalam mendukung kesehatan mental secara preventif dan berkelanjutan
