Abstrak

Stroke merupakan penyebab kematian ke tiga setelah penyakit kardiovaskular dan kanker. Stroke dibagi menjadi stroke infark atau stroke sumbatan dan stroke perdarahan, sedangkan stroke perdarahaan dibagi menjadi perdarahan intraserebral dan perdarahan subarachnoid. Meskipun angka kejadian stroke perdarahan lebih rendah daripada stroke infark, tetapi memiliki angka kematian yang lebih tinggi. Faktor resiko terjadinya Stroke perdarahan antara lain seperti usia, penyakit metabolik seperti hipertensi, diabetes melitus, obesitas juga kebiasaan seperti merokok. Dan 90% kasus stroke bisa dicegah dengan cara mengendalikan faktor resiko.Sejak tahun 2018, Provinsi Papua telah memiliki pelayanan bedah saraf, sehingga belum ada laporan profil pasien stroke perdarahan bahkan sejak sebelum tahun tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara faktor demografi dan sosioekonomi dengan risiko stroke di RSUD Dok II Kota Jayapura. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Data sekunder diambil dari rekam medis 36 pasien stroke. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 77,8% pasien stroke adalah laki-laki dengan rata-rata usia 51,86 tahun. Sebagian besar pasien (58,3%) sudah menikah, dan 36,1% memiliki pendidikan terakhir sarjana. Uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan signifikan antara faktor-faktor sosioekonomi seperti status perkawinan, pendidikan, dan pekerjaan dengan risiko stroke. Temuan ini dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pengembangan program pencegahan stroke yang lebih efektif di Papua.
